Emily: “Mommy, I wanna go peep.”
Mommy: ”Do you wanna sit on the potty?”
Emily: “Yes!”
Mommy: Runs and grabs the potty, and places it in the bathroom. “Emily, do no need mommy to help you take your pants and diaper off?”
Emily: “No, I wanna peep on the potty with me diaper on.”
Really? Seriously?
I guess I should just be happy that she no longer screams when I bring the potty out.
My mom called this morning to tell me that Rachel Ray had a segment on potty training. Emily and I watched it. Informative. I asked Emily if she wanted to pee in the potty like those big boys and girls, and she said…
“I wanna sit on the potty with me diaper on.”
When she is done she wipes her diaper like it is her bare bottom.
I am serious.
I think we are almost there.
